Sources — mostly a guy yelling on Reddit — insisted the deal was already “99% done,” with Carr allegedly spotted browsing hot dog buns at a local Kroger.
NFL insiders quickly shut the rumor down, reminding everyone that Carr still plays quarterback for the Saints and, more importantly, chili is not an approved form of trade compensation under league rules.
