The Super Bowl is set to kick off Sunday night in New Orleans, after which the NFL’s focus will shift to the NFL Combine and the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft. Two former South Carolina Gamecocks have been granted special eligibility by the NFL.

In a statement released by NFL.com on Thursday, the league revealed the names of 55 players granted special eligibility for the 2025 NFL Draft, along with 15 underclassmen who have completed their degree requirements but still have college eligibility remaining, making them eligible for the draft. The 2025 NFL Draft will take place from April 24-26 in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Among the 55 players granted special eligibility is former South Carolina safety Nick Emmanwori, who completed three seasons of college football. Emmanwori is currently projected to be a top-50 pick, with the possibility of landing in the first round. Former South Carolina defensive tackle T.J. Sanders also received special eligibility, having already earned his degree.
