Duke guard Cooper Flagg is set to make his highly anticipated return to his hometown this weekend as the Blue Devils travel to Boston College on Saturday night.
Flagg, who was ranked the top high school player in the country last season and hails from Newport, Maine, has made his New England homecoming an in-demand event. According to Zack Cox of the Boston Herald, ticket prices for the game at the Eagles’ Conte Forum are shockingly high. The lowest available ticket on Gametime is priced at $140, with some tickets reaching as much as $2,094.

For comparison, most of Boston College’s remaining home games this season are available for as little as $1.
In his first season at Duke, Flagg has been a standout, leading the Blue Devils in all five major statistical categories per game. Through 17 games, he’s averaging 18.7 points, 8.2 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.2 blocks. Duke is also 15-2 and ranked No. 3 in the nation.
Not bad for an 18-year-old true freshman.
