However, the Blue Jays did not wear theirs on Saturdays, Sundays, or Tuesdays last year.
The Blue Jays will wear their City Connect uniforms for every Friday night home game in 2025 but have the flexibility to expand their usage throughout the season. Last year, Toronto finished with a 74-88 record, placing last in the AL East, but they enter this season with renewed optimism following key offseason additions. The team bolstered its roster by acquiring slugger Anthony Santander, elite defender Andrés Giménez, future Hall of Famer Max Scherzer, and relievers Jeff Hoffman and Yimi García. Toronto continues Grapefruit League play for the next five weeks before opening the regular season on March 27 against the Baltimore Orioles.
