BREAKING: Norwegian Cruise Ship Sets Sail with Entire Crew Accidentally Replaced by Musical Theater Students

According to sources, the mix-up occurred after both the cruise line and the college booked the same port terminal for onboarding. While the actual crew waited in line at Starbucks, a group of 74 theater majors—dressed in matching sailor costumes for a themed production of Anything Goes—mistakenly boarded the ship and were immediately assumed to be the new staff.

By the time the real crew returned, the ship had already departed, and the jazz hands had set sail.

Passengers were initially confused by the ship’s odd routines. “The safety demonstration was performed as a tap number,” said passenger Linda Mulligan, 63. “I wasn’t sure where the life vests were, but I learned a lot about 1930s maritime romance.”

Despite the lack of formal training, the students quickly adapted, running the ship with Broadway flair. All announcements are now sung, and buffet queues are managed using interpretive dance. “They’re underqualified,” admitted one ship officer via radio, “but they’ve got heart—and incredible projection.”

The ship is expected to dock in the Bahamas on Thursday, assuming someone figures out how to steer
