I’ve realized that I really enjoy Lithuanian and Latvian indie/alternative rock bands and artists. In 2023, I was a fan of Sudden Lights, and last year in Supernova, I loved Vēstulēs. This year, I’ve discovered Tepat, KoBra, Chris Noah, Bel Tempo x LEGZDINA, and now I’m also into Katarsis. I’ve also come across other Lithuanian artists with a similar vibe. One of the reasons I love Eurovision is that I probably wouldn’t have discovered Katarsis, Sudden Lights, Tepat, and the like without it. ❤

I’ve always had a deep passion for music, but over the past few years, I’ve found myself drawn to the indie and alternative rock scenes of Lithuania and Latvia. It all started in 2023 when I first heard Sudden Lights, a band that completely captivated me with their unique sound. Then, in Supernova last year, I discovered Vēstulēs, another group that left a lasting impression on me. Their music felt fresh, raw, and incredibly emotional.

This year, my musical journey led me to even more exciting discoveries, including Tepat, KoBra, Chris Noah, and Bel Tempo x LEGZDINA. Each of these artists brought something different to the table, yet they all shared that same indie/alternative spirit that I can’t get enough of. But what really blew me away was finding Katarsis. Their sound resonated with me immediately, and I can’t help but dive deeper into their music.

Along the way, I’ve also found several other Lithuanian bands and artists who share that same vibe, which has been an exciting journey in itself. Looking back, I realize how much Eurovision has played a part in this discovery. If it weren’t for the platform, I may never have stumbled upon Katarsis, Sudden Lights, Tepat, or any of the other talented artists I’ve come to love. Eurovision has opened my eyes to an entirely new world of music that I might not have come across otherwise, and for that, I’m incredibly grateful.
