A Celtic supporter named Stephen called into the Clyde 1 Superscoreboard radio show on Monday, stating that Rangers’ success in Europe but struggles domestically are due to them being “rotten.”

The show’s host, Gordon Duncan, challenged this argument, saying, “That wouldn’t explain why they’re good in Europe, would it? You can’t claim Rangers are good in Europe but bad domestically just because they’re rotten.”

Celtic fan Stephen later argued that the Gers were also “punching above their weight,” which left Duncan puzzled. He responded, “But I thought they were rotten, or are they punching above their weight?”
