The transfer portal is now open for West Virginia football players following the departure of head coach Neal Brown. On Monday morning, redshirt junior offensive lineman Bryce Biggs announced on X that he is leaving the program and plans to finish his collegiate career at a different school.

“I will be entering the transfer portal as a Grad Transfer with one year of eligibility remaining! I am grateful for my time at West Virginia and the coaches’ efforts in helping me grow as both a player and a person. Excited to see where this journey takes me next!”

Bryce Biggs, a native of Ashland, Kentucky, played high school football at Spring Valley in West Virginia, where he was teammates with current WVU offensive lineman Wyatt Milum. Out of high school, Biggs received offers from programs such as Akron, Arkansas State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Marshall, Southern Miss, Western Kentucky, and Youngstown State. However, he chose to walk on at WVU.

During his time with the Mountaineers, Biggs appeared in 10 games, including three this season. He contributed depth to the interior offensive line and played a role on special teams.
