Former Toronto Maple Leafs player, Jay Rosehill, has strongly criticized the organization for their player introductions during the home season opener.

During an appearance on Leafs Morning Take, Rosehill expressed his disappointment with the Leafs’ ceremony, describing it as “underwhelming and disappointing.” He praised the Montreal Canadiens for doing a much better job and criticized the Leafs for falling short, despite being one of the biggest hockey markets in the world. Rosehill also voiced frustration with the atmosphere at the arena.

In his candid remarks, which have resonated with many fans on X, Rosehill pointed out the stark difference between the Canadiens’ and the Leafs’ openers. The Canadiens offered an exciting show with an orchestra and live band on the ice, something far more engaging than what the Leafs delivered.
