The rapper is currently awaiting trial on prior charges and has firmly denied all allegations of sexual abuse.
Sean Combs, known as P Diddy and Puff Daddy, faces new sexual misconduct accusations from 120 additional claimants.
Houston attorney Tony Buzbee, representing the plaintiffs, has indicated that he anticipates lawsuits to be filed within the next month.
Among the 120 accusers, there are 60 men and 60 women, including 25 who were minors at the time of the alleged incidents, with one claiming abuse at the age of nine.
The allegations against Combs span from 1991 to the present.
At a press conference, Mr. Buzbee stated, “This kind of sexual assault, sexual abuse, and sexual exploitation should never occur in the United States or anywhere else.
“This should not have been allowed to continue for so long. This behavior has resulted in a multitude of individuals who are harmed, frightened, and traumatized.”
Mr. Buzbee mentioned that most lawsuits are likely to be filed in New York and Los Angeles, while additional cases are still under review beyond the initial 120 accusers.
In response to the recent allegations, Combs’ lawyer remarked that he “cannot address every baseless accusation in what has become a reckless media spectacle.” Combs is presently awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.
Erica Wolff asserted: “Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies any claims of sexual abuse, including those involving minors, as false and defamatory.
“He is eager to prove his innocence and clear his name in court when claims are filed and served, where the truth will be established through evidence rather than speculation.”
P Diddy is also dealing with several other lawsuits filed in the past year. Combs has pleaded not guilty to charges of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.
Since September 17, he has been held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, after pleading not guilty to allegations that he exploited his “power and prestige” to orchestrate what have been described as “Freak Offs,” in which he allegedly encouraged women to engage in drug-induced sexual acts with male sex workers.
His legal team proposed a $50 million bail package that would allow P Diddy to stay under house arrest at his Florida mansion, with strict visitor limitations and GPS tracking. However, all bail requests have been denied.
