Ryan Reaves’ future with the Toronto Maple Leafs remains uncertain, but he’s currently attending training camp under new head coach Craig Berube. After being frequently sidelined last season, Reaves is eager to earn his spot in the lineup, especially with younger players vying for his position.
When asked about Berube’s coaching approach compared to Sheldon Keefe, Reaves revealed that Berube has a demanding style. He mentioned that the first practice session was one of the toughest he’s ever experienced, saying, “Today was in my top two, and it probably wasn’t two.”
Time will tell if Berube can truly transform the Leafs, a team that’s excelled in the regular season but struggled in the playoffs. His task now is to guide them to greater success.
