Celtic’s search for a new goalkeeper has focused on Peter Vindahl Jensen from Sparta Prague, who has emerged as their primary target. Following Joe Hart’s retirement, manager Brendan Rodgers is keen to secure a reliable replacement. Vindahl Jensen, aged 26 and valued at £8 million by his current club, is reportedly the top choice for Celtic, with negotiations ongoing as reported by the Daily Record.

At present, Celtic’s senior goalkeeping options are limited to Scott Bain and Benjamin Siegrist. The club has been actively exploring various options to strengthen this position throughout recent months.

Scott Bain is Celtic's No 1 at present.

Norwich City are determined to retain striker Adam Idah, despite interest from Celtic. The Canaries’ sporting director, Dean Knapper, expressed his enthusiasm for Idah, describing him as a player who excites him. Idah had a successful loan spell at Celtic last season, contributing to their league and Scottish Cup triumphs.

Reports indicate that Norwich City have rejected a £4 million bid from Celtic for Idah. Knapper highlighted Idah’s exceptional goal-scoring record, particularly during the winter months where he had one of the best goals per minute ratios in Europe. He emphasized Idah’s proven ability in the Championship and his status as a full international who developed through Norwich’s youth system, making him a highly valued asset to the club.

Norwich will put up a fight to keep Adam Idah.

Kilmarnock are on the verge of securing Rangers goalkeeper Robby McCrorie. According to The Scottish Sun, McCrorie, who served as backup to Jack Butland at Ibrox last season, is poised to sign a two-year contract with Killie, where he is expected to assume the role of their first-choice goalkeeper for the upcoming season.

Manager Derek McInnes has been eager to strengthen his goalkeeping options following the departure of last season’s starter Will Dennis, who has returned to Bournemouth. McCrorie, aged 26, is keen on regular first-team football, and his decision to leave Rangers has been hastened by the arrival of Liam Kelly at the club.

Robby McCrorie is reportedly on the verge of joining Kilmarnock.
Hibs and Dundee are considering making additional bids for Ross County striker Simon Murray after their initial offers did not meet the Staggies’ valuation.

The 32-year-old Murray was Ross County’s top scorer last season and is in the final year of his contract. Both clubs are eager to strengthen their attacking options and see Murray as a player who can provide an extra goal threat.

Murray has previously played for both Hibs and Dundee, and he is a former teammate of current Hibs head coach David Gray.

Simon Murray is a transfer target for Hibs and Dundee.
Hibs’ overlooked midfielder, Ewan Henderson, is reportedly set to transfer to Beerschot. The 24-year-old, who was on loan at Oostende last season, seems to be out of the first-team plans at Easter Road. According to Niewsblad, Henderson is close to finalizing a move back to the Jupiler League.
