Three players Borussia Mönchengladbach are eyeing this summer

According to the Rheinische Post, Borussia Mönchengladbach is set to allow a significant number of their players to depart this summer as part of a rebuilding phase. Among those potentially leaving are defender Ko Itakura, who attracted interest from other clubs last year, midfielder Florian Neuhaus, reportedly at odds with manager Gerardo Seoane, and forward Alassane Pléa, who has struggled under the current coach.

Gladbach is also hopeful that some players, such as Nico Elvedi and Joe Scally (participating in Euros and Copa America, respectively), and Manu Koné (expected at the Olympics with France), will attract interest due to their performances in summer competitions. The club aims to fetch approximately €18 million from Koné’s sale, which will aid in financing their ongoing rebuilding efforts.

So far this summer, Die Fohlen have secured two signings: Philipp Sander from Holstein Kiel and Kevin Stöger on a free transfer from Bochum.
