Fotboll Direkt reports that Derby County is set to officially announce the signing of Djurgårdens IF goalkeeper Jacob Widell Zetterström. The player has agreed to the move after meeting with the Championship club earlier this week. The transfer fee is expected to be slightly over £2 million, with additional potential add-ons up to £600,000.

Last week, Zetterström expressed his dream of playing in England, and it now looks like that dream will come true. Djurgårdens IF is already in the process of finding a replacement, with Al Fateh’s Jacob Rinne and Brommapojkarna’s Filip Sidklev being considered as potential options.

Zetterström, who has made 15 league appearances this season and is contracted until June 2025, made his debut for Sweden last year and will now continue his career at Derby County.
