According to ‘Cadena COPE,’ Celta Vigo have set their sights on James Rodriguez.

The Galician club has reportedly offered a two-year contract to the Colombian midfielder, who is also being pursued by Betis and Atletico Madrid.

After the Copa America, where Argentina emerged as champions by defeating Colombia in the final, James Rodriguez stood out as the tournament’s MVP, marking his resurgence. Consequently, several European teams, including Atletico Madrid, Betis, and Celta, have shown interest in him.

Celta Vigo has moved the quickest, having already made a formal offer for a two-year contract. James is said to have agreed to terminate his contract with Sao Paulo, meaning he would join Celta as a free agent. This move would see the Colombian return to Spain four seasons after his last stint with Real Madrid in 2019-20.
