Arijanet Muric has become Ipswich Town’s fifth summer signing following their confirmation of promotion to the Premier League. He signed a four-year contract at Portman Road after leaving Burnley, who were relegated to the EFL Championship. Muric, also known as Aro, is a Kosovo international with 38 senior caps. Last season, he made 10 appearances for Vincent Kompany’s team and played a significant role in their previous promotion.
Muric started his career at Manchester City and had loan spells across Europe before joining Burnley in 2022. The 25-year-old goalkeeper expressed his excitement about joining Ipswich Town, stating he believes their playing style will suit him well.
Later today, Muric will travel to Austria to join Ipswich Town for their preseason camp.
