Carson Kent, a standout tight end from Kennesaw State, has announced his commitment to the University of Oklahoma. The 6-foot-5, 240-pound playmaker, who entered the transfer portal earlier this offseason, made the decision to join the Sooners following a standout career with the Owls.
Kent, known for his combination of size and athleticism, will provide Oklahoma with a dynamic option at the tight end position. He had an impressive 2023 season at Kennesaw State, recording several key receptions and contributing as both a blocker and a pass-catcher.
His commitment marks a significant addition to Oklahoma’s 2024 roster as the Sooners continue to build for the future under head coach Brent Venables. Kent’s ability to stretch the field and create mismatches will be a valuable asset to the offense moving forward.
