Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” in Toronto has been nothing short of iconic. Even before her six-night residency at the Rogers Centre began, she was showered with support. The Toronto Blue Jays embraced their inner Swiftie, celebrating her arrival in the city, while the stadium itself displayed a massive friendship bracelet in her honor.
Swift’s connection to the Kansas City Chiefs, through her boyfriend Travis Kelce, also brought special guests to the show. Tavia Hunt, wife of Chiefs owner Clark Hunt, and Tammy Reid, wife of head coach Andy Reid, traveled to Toronto to cheer her on.
Adding to the excitement, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau attended her second-to-last show on Friday night, joining the crowd with his family to experience the magic of Swift’s performance.
Earlier in the day, CTV News Toronto reported that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau planned to attend Taylor Swift’s concert while in the Greater Toronto Area to announce funding for school nutrition programs in Ontario. During the show, Trudeau was even spotted on camera dancing along to Swift’s songs, clearly enjoying the performance and the electric atmosphere of the “Eras Tour.”
Before the first night of Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” in Toronto on November 14, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took to X (formerly Twitter) to welcome the global superstar. “We’re ready for you, [Taylor Swift],” Trudeau posted. “Good choice wrapping the Eras Tour in Canada. Has this always been your endgame? #TorontoVancouver”
Following her performance on Friday, Taylor Swift has one final show in Toronto on Saturday. Afterward, she will take a two-week break before heading back to Canada on December 6 to perform three nights in Vancouver, marking the grand finale of the “Eras Tour.”
