William Nylander is not only excelling on the ice this season, scoring goals and setting up teammates, but he’s also lending his talents off the ice as a model for October’s Very Own (OVO), helping showcase their latest clothing collection in collaboration with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
OVO and the Toronto Maple Leafs have partnered multiple times, most recently releasing their “Hometown Heroes Collection” on September 27, 2024. The collection featured Maple Leafs legend Mats Sundin as a model, showcasing a Maple Leafs x OVO T-shirt in two colors, two hoodies, and a Toronto Maple Leafs blue basketball jersey.
Their latest release, dropping today, Friday, November 22, is a winter collection called “All-Canadian,” which features a collaboration between October’s Very Own (OVO) and all seven Canadian teams in the NHL.
So far, it’s known that the collection will include a breakaway pullover jacket from the brand Starter. Each jacket will feature the hockey team’s name on the front, just below the OVO Owl logo, a vintage NHL logo on the left shoulder, and “October’s Very Own” written across the hood.
The new “All-Canadian” collection also includes a blue sweater featuring the OVO owl on the front with “Toronto” written above it, as well as a T-shirt that’s likely to attract the most attention. The vintage-style white shirt features two goalies on the front, with “Toronto” written vertically along the right side.
This marks the fourth collaboration between OVO and the Toronto Maple Leafs, giving fans another chance to buy high-quality team apparel. In addition, OVO and the NHL partnered ahead of the 2024 NHL All-Star Game in Toronto, making it the fifth hockey-related collaboration between the two in recent years.
