Kildare’s Paul Cribbin has officially announced his retirement from inter-county football.
He made his senior debut for the county in 2013, having already secured a Leinster U-21 title that same year. Prior to joining Kildare, Cribbin spent two years with AFL club Collingwood, one of four Kildare players who played in the AFL during the early part of the last decade.
In 2015, he represented Ireland in international rules and received an All-Star nomination in 2018.
Kildare GAA paid tribute to the Johnstownbridge native, highlighting his status as a “standout player known for his powerful runs, scoring prowess, and unwavering commitment to the Lilywhite jersey,” with over 100 appearances in league and championship play.
