With Timmins earning just $1.1M compared to Liljegren’s $3M salary, it has sparked speculation that the Leafs may be considering moving Liljegren to free up cap space. This move could potentially happen before Calle Jarnkrok, Jani Hakanpää, and others are activated from IR/LTIR.
