Fornah, 24, has joined the Ammies on a loan deal that will last until the end of the 2024/25 season.

The Sierra Leone international moved to the Rams from Nottingham Forest last summer, making 23 appearances across all competitions as Paul Warne’s team secured promotion from the third tier.

His appearances became more limited in the second half of last season, with his last league start occurring in December 2023 during a 3-1 home victory against Lincoln City.

Fornah, who made a late substitute appearance in last Friday’s Sky Bet Championship season opener at Blackburn Rovers, may make his Salford debut in their league match at Bradford City on Saturday.
