Numerous Championship clubs, including Norwich City and Derby County, are showing interest in signing AFC Bournemouth forward Daniel Jebbison. Despite rejecting a chance to stay with Sheffield United to join Bournemouth, Jebbison might be loaned out for the 2024/25 season to gain more playing time. At 21, he needs regular minutes to continue his development.

According to HITC, several Championship teams are eyeing the young forward, who left Sheffield United earlier this summer. Jebbison missed much of last season due to injury, hampering his growth, although Sheffield United was keen to retain him, recognizing his potential.

During his time at Sheffield United, Jebbison made 35 appearances across all competitions, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist. However, he opted not to extend his contract at Bramall Lane and instead moved to Bournemouth, linking up with the Cherries.

It’s uncertain if Jebbison is part of Andoni Iraola’s immediate plans at Bournemouth, making a loan move likely for the upcoming season. The young striker has attracted interest from multiple clubs, both in England and abroad, with the final destination still unknown.

Several Championship clubs, including Norwich, Derby, Hull City, Portsmouth, Stoke City, and West Bromwich Albion, are reportedly interested in Jebbison. Norwich, in particular, is seeking additional attacking options, while Hull City is also in need of reinforcements following several departures.

Derby and Portsmouth, looking to strengthen their squads after returning to the Championship, and West Brom, needing more attacking depth, could also benefit from signing the promising Jebbison. Although his scoring record at Sheffield United wasn’t outstanding, regular game time at a new club is crucial for his continued development.

Jebbison needs consistent match experience to reach his full potential, and it remains to be seen where he will land if he leaves Bournemouth this summer. There is no shortage of interest in the young forward’s future.
