QPR have acquired Scotland Under-21 centre-back Liam Morrison from Bayern Munich for an undisclosed fee and also signed Brazilian right-back Hevertton Santos.
Morrison, aged 21, joined Bayern Munich from Celtic at 16 but did not make any first-team appearances for the German club. Last season, he was on loan at Wigan Athletic, where he featured in 35 matches for the League One team.
Santos, 23, has joined the west London club following the expiration of his contract with Portuguese top-tier side Estrela da Amadora.
The duration of both players’ contracts with QPR has not been revealed.
Morrison expressed confidence in handling the Championship’s demands, stating on QPR’s website, “I know the Championship is a step up but I am confident I will be able to handle that step.”
Santos shared his enthusiasm for the move, saying, “I like this type of challenge. Life is made of opportunities and this is a big one for me. It has always been my dream to play in England because I love the way football is perceived and played here. Compared to other countries, it feels like a different sport.”
