JUST IN: Leafs re-sign F Connor Dewar to 1-year contract

The Toronto Maple Leafs have re-signed forward Connor Dewar to a one-year contract worth $1.18 million. The 25-year-old forward scored one goal and added four assists in 17 games with Toronto last season after being acquired from Minnesota on March 8. Dewar also recorded 10 goals and four assists in 57 games for the Wild last season and contributed an assist in six playoff games for Toronto during their first-round series against the Boston Bruins. Drafted by the Wild in the third round of the 2018 NHL Draft, Dewar has career totals of 19 goals and 24 assists in 190 games across three seasons with the Wild (2021-24) and Maple Leafs.
