Cobb will always be remembered by Packers fans for his pivotal touchdown reception against the Bears in the 2013 season. This memorable play occurred in Week 17, securing the NFC North Title for the Packers. However, the Packers were defeated by the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Wild Card round the following week.

It seemed inevitable that Randall Cobb would step away from football. Cobb shared with ESPN’s Katie Callahan his excitement about joining the SEC Network in the fall:

“I am incredibly excited to be coming home to the SEC with this new role. The level of greatness this conference provides year after year is unmatched – I cannot wait to return to the conference family with this SEC Network crew.”

This marks a significant addition for the SEC Network. Congratulations to Cobb on a remarkable career, and best wishes for success in his next journey in life.
