Although it’s only July and more moves are expected, here’s an early prediction for the opening night lineup.

Projected Toronto Maple Leafs 2024-25 Opening Night Lineup

First Line: Max Domi – Auston Matthews – William Nylander
This line has the most potential. Matthews and Nylander can create space for each other, while Domi, an elite passer, could thrive in this setup. It’s a long shot, but Domi could have a breakout season, similar to Zach Hyman’s.

Second Line: Matthew Knies – Mitch Marner – Nick Robertson
