Hibs have announced the squad that traveled to the Netherlands on Monday morning, with Jake Doyle-Hayes notably absent. The Irish midfielder, who recently played 45 minutes in a friendly against Edinburgh City after a long recovery from injury, stayed in Edinburgh due to illness. Allan Delferriere also remained behind for the same reason.

Ewan Henderson, who participated in pre-season training last week, is similarly absent. However, Martin Boyle, Nathan Moriah-Welsh, and Rocky Bushiri have rejoined the squad after international duty, alongside Elie Youan, who completed individual training at HTC on Saturday.

Jake Doyle-Hayes’ absence is a significant setback as he has not played competitively since suffering an ankle injury in training last year. Despite recent progress, including his appearance in the friendly at Meadowbank, he now hopes to rejoin the team when they return to Edinburgh next week.

The traveling party includes new signings Josef Bursik, Marvin Ekpiteta, and Warren O’Hora, as well as youngsters Rudi Molotnikov, Kanayo Megwa, and Rory Whittaker.
